DIY Bug Spray

Mom Among Chaos
I hate spraying my girls with chemicals, so I decided to make my own bug spray.  There are lots of different methods to make it, but this is how I made it.  I wanted to double check that it worked before I recommended it.  I gave it a try up north in super buggy conditions.  I came out without a single bite.

Here is what you will need:
apple cider vinegar
filtered or purified water
tea tree oil
a bottle

Add 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 cup of  vinegar, and 40 to 50 drops of tea tree oil.  Give it all a good shake, and you're good to go.

This works great, but the smell isn't the greatest.  There are other oils you can use, but in this case I wanted to use what I already had.

There you have it!  You are bite free without the chemicals.
