Celebrity Deaths of 2014: Who I Will Miss

I was just thinking the other day, that it's always huge news when a celebrity passes away. I want to yell out, what about all the people that died fighting for our beautiful country or the little kids that battle cancer. I want you to know you're in my heart first and foremost. You're not forgotten.

We have had a few of my favorites pass this year. One was Maya Angelou. As I grew up I loved to write poetry. I quickly fell in love when reading about Maya's very interesting life. Maya was known for her poetry. Her beautiful words can sweep you off your feet. Here are a few of my favorite books by her:
I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings
Phenomenal Woman: Four Poems Celebrating Women
The Heart of a Woman (Oprah's Book Club)

Who doesn't love Robin Williams? He is timeless! I was so sad when I heard that he took his life. What a loss of talent. I spent some time thinking about what are my favorite Robin William films, so I'm going to include them.

Patch Adams / What Dreams May Come (Double Feature)
I found two of my favorites on a combo DVD set for $4.99. The link is above. If you haven't seen either of these, they are must sees. Both of them are very emotional and heartfelt. You will be thinking about them long after you finish watching the movies.

The Birdcage is another favorite. It is a comedy about a gay couple whose son is getting married. It will have you in stitches. It's definitely Robin Williams at his best...humor!

Finally, my favorite Robin Williams movie from my childhood is....
Who didn't love Popeye? He was just adorable. When you watch it, it reminds you how far movie sets have come. I'm not sure what year it was made, but I love how cheesy it is.

Who passed in 2014 that you will miss? What celebrity will you remember and why?
