I have visited The Morrie before! I attended a dinner event. It was also great, plus they had live music. You can read all about it in Downtown Royal Oak Hot Spot!
The Morrie is for all music lovers! Who isn't a music lover? The decor is hip, and the vibe is trendy! You will love the decorations. I don't want to give them all away because you need to visit! You may want to bring your camera!
Brunch in Royal Oak
I started the morning off right with a mimosa! Seriously, the mimosa is out of this world, and you can buy a bottomless mimosa. There are quite a few brunch cocktails that you might want to check out!
I couldn't decide which delicious dish to choose so I decided to share with a friend so we both could taste two different dishes.
Is your mouth watering looking at the Nashville Hot Chicken & Waffle Stack? Well, it should! It tastes even better than it looks. It even comes with a flavorful Roadhouse butter, that livens this dish up. The chicken is not too spicy. In fact, this dish is made perfect because with the maple syrup you get a little sweet and spicy making this recipe totally rock n roll! I would visit again for this chicken and waffle stack!
I also had the Smoked Cheddar Biscuits & Chorizo Gravy! This dish is supposed to be a great hangover cure! The taste is not like what you would expect from biscuits and gravy. Think of this recipe as an upscale biscuit and gravy. The sausage and the gravy give it a lightly spicy and unique taste. The gravy makes this dish.
Should you head to The Morrie for lunch? Oh yes! It's a great meal in a trendy area. I loved the chicken and waffles right along with the mimosa. Heck, I might have hubby take me here for brunch on Mother's Day!
