For my 12th Stitch Fix box, I asked my stylist, Rachel for some comfy jeans to update my current wardrobe. I didn't ask for any Valentine's Day clothes since I own enough dresses.
What is Stitch Fix? Stitch Fix is a styling service. When you request a box, the stylist will look at your Pinterest board, that you will set up, to find out your personal style. The stylist picks out five pieces to send you. The five pieces are to update your wardrobe and get you to step out of your "regular" style box. The cool part is you can try on the clothing in the comfort of your home and keep them for up to three days. If you end up purchasing nothing, you only pay a $20 styling credit. If you buy any of the items, the $20 styling credit is applied to your purchase. If you purchase the entire box, you receive a 25% discount. The best deal is when you keep the whole box.

I was just thinking the other day that I need to buy a new purse. My coach purse has to be 3-4 years old. This purse is HUGE. The picture doesn't do it justice. Heck, you could carry a dog in this bag. I was not fond of this color. I was annoyed because I know that this color was in last spring/summer. Also, this color doesn't go with that much. I didn't like the gold zippers with the black around it. It was just not my style. I sent it back.

Alice Blue Inverell Jacket
My husband liked this jacket. He thought it looked a little 50's. I didn't like the collar or how the bottom of the jacket purposely doesn't line up. It was also a tad snug. I sent it back.

Pixley Dardie Lace Inset Blouse
This top was a basic blue shell top. I was a little discouraged, so I didn't take a picture of it. I tried it on, confirmed that it was a basic shell, and took it right back off. Bummer!

Daniel Rainn Koda Split Neck Blouse
As soon as I laid my eyes on this top I couldn't wait to try it on. I thought it would look great with a pair of black leggings. The only problem was the front of the shirt wasn't long enough to wear with leggings because all girly parts need to be covered when wearing leggings. Can you tell I was tired of pictures? LOL!

Kut From The Kloth Kate Distressed Boyfriend Jean
Finally, the item I asked for in my Fix. I wanted a pair of comfortable jeans. These were them, so I did end up keeping them. After wearing them a few times, I noticed that you might want to go down a size. They stretch out around the waist super fast. I'm normally a size 6 and wish I had gotten these in a size 4.

I was not super impressed with this box. I felt that it was off target. I hope that my next box, which is for my Florida vacation, will be on point. The last seven months have been rough on our family. We moved from our home that we loved to care for an elderly relative. We have dealt with lots of verbal abuse. So, we're picking up and starting again. We're moving again in March. I need a little pick me up instead of feeling and looking worn down.

What was your favorite item that I received? Have you tried Stitch Fix? You can use any of my links to sign up for your box!
