My husband is a HUGE Guardians of the Galaxy fan. Me, not as much. Matt was giddy with excitement to check out the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 before it is released on May 5, 2017.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 Review

In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Peter Quill is hired by an alien race to protect their expensive batteries from people trying to steal them.



The alien race discovers Rocket had also stolen batteries from them. Angry, the alien race decides to go after the Guardians of the Galaxy to seek revenge.




While the Guardians are busy fighting for their lives against the alien race, Peter, finds his birth father, Ego (Kurt Russell). Would he be everything that he's been dreaming of? Or, does Peter already have a family? I guess you will have to see the film to find out!



My husband claims I'm not (nerdy) enough to love this movie. He totally gave it 5 stars. I guess I'm not nerdy enough. I can tell you this! This film was so much better than the first one for me. It held my attention the entire movie.



Here are a few recommendations! My ten-year-old was wanting to see this film. I feel it's too violent for her to see. I think they have it rated appropriately at PG-13. I think 12 and over would be just fine.



I did see the film in 3D. I definitely don't believe that this is a must.

I want to share what I loved about the film. I was enchanted with the makeup. I was a face painter for six years, so I was drawn to the characters faces, and I could even tell what professional paints they were using. Yes, that part was so cool to me!



Everyone I know is excited about seeing Baby Groot. I guarantee that you will love this cute little booger!

I have to admit that I loved the music in this film. I believe it was late 70's and early 80's. The Walkman brought back so many warm childhood memories.

If you're a Guardians of the Galaxy fan head to the theater. If your not a fan your still in for an entertaining ride!
