Not only do I rub those chemicals under my arms every morning but my two young girls do as well.
There has to be a reasonable solution to feel dry and not to smell foul. I've tried numerous brands of "natural deodorants" and haven't had much luck.
So, I decided to dig deeper and consult EWG for the safest deodorants that actually work.
Now, after spending hours reading reviews on Amazon. I have found that some of these brands are hit or miss. Meaning, what works for one person may not work for another. So, you may have to try a few before you find a good deodorant.
Best Non-Toxic Deodorants
This deodorant is the first on my list to try. It has good reviews on Amazon. Yes, I make my purchases based on reviews. This is supposedly the best selling mineral salt deodorant around. It has no harmful chemicals and sells for cheap. I will make sure to update my review after I give it a whirl. Grab yours here!
All Good unscented deodorant is perfect for men or women. After reading the reviews, people seem to have mixed results. So, you may just have to try it for yourself. Some people love it and other's hate it. It has 4 out of 5 stars.
GreenLove has excellent ratings, but there are a few reviews that are stating that people developed a rash. If you have sensitive skin, this may not be the right fit for you. It is aluminum-free and non-toxic. Grab yours here.
PHresh is a favorite I noticed of EWG. It looks like just about all of their creams appear extremely safe. I did see a few people did break out into a rash. I would have to personally get used to applying this product since it's not a roll on, but it's worth it after the reviews I read.
What have I learned from the best non-toxic deodorants? It may take you a few tries finding the right deodorant for your body. What works well for one person may not work well for you.
