Have you seen the new live-action Cinderella? My daughters & I went to an early screening. They were especially excited to see the Frozen Fever short animated movie beforehand. It is so cute with all the little snowmen that Elsa creates when she sneezes.

Cinderella is appropriate for all ages but if you remember in the story there are deaths, sadness, and her step-family is mean to her. The movie made my youngest, who is 8, quite sad for Cinderella. I have read a bit of controversy about how she should have stood up to them or why did she need to have a man save her. Don't worry about it, this is a fairy tale, it's not realistic. So of course it does have a happy ending.
My favorite part was the fairy godmother scene. I love the actress Helena Bonham Carter. She acted so silly trying to create things out of a pumpkin, goose, & lizards.

I loved that the Prince was from Game of Thrones. He's so handsome! I think my favorite part was the dancing. I loved seeing all of the beautiful ball gowns twirling around. I wish we had dances like that now-a-days. Oh, and I think I could use that dress and slippers to wear to the dance. While I'm at it, I might as well add in a Fairy Godmother!
My daughter Faith loved when they turned the pumpkin into the carriage. It was quite comical. Crystal~
