Chesterfield Leisure Services is excited to offer a Halloween event! Children ages 2-10 can breeze through our outdoor trick-or-treating trail held on the grounds of the Township Office. This safer alternative to traditional trick or treating, sponsored by Harbor Oaks Hospital and Wendy Jones, Real Estate One, is sure to please parents and children alike with plenty of candy and few special treats.

Tickets can be purchased online at parks.chesterfieldtwp.org.

Attendance is strictly limited for each time slot. Purchase your tickets TODAY to reserve your spot! This event is sure to sell out!

**Leisure Services is also seeking adult volunteers for the Trunk-or-Treating portion of the event. Volunteers must arrive by 11 AM, and will remain parked until 4:45 PM. You'll provide your own candy for 400 monsters. Sign-up to participate by calling Leisure Services at 586-949-0400 ext. 4. You must provide your name, address, phone number, age, vehicle license plate #, make, model, and color, and email address. Decorated vehicles are eligible to win a prize!

Join Us for a Halloween Stroll at our new branch in St. Clair Shores. Stroll through our parking lot full of decorated vehicles and end your stroll by picking up a bag full of treats. With the current regulations in place for gathering outside, we are going to “Flip the Trunk” on our annual Trunk N Treat event. This year, participants are asked to donate a bag of candy that will be brought to the Good News Gang in SW Detroit. The Good News Gang ministers to children with adverse living conditions. After donating a bag of candy, each family will have the opportunity to take a fall-themed picture (we encourage costumes!!!) and get a special surprise to bring home to celebrate.

We are hosting our annual Trick-or-Treat Trail for children ages 18 months-12 years old. This event features spooky music, hot chocolate & cider, donuts and candy, and other goodies which will be handed out by many different service clubs, businesses, city departments, and other individuals. This is a great way for kids to trick-or-treat in a safe and secure environment.
Wristbands are required for entry and must be purchased in advance. In order to purchase a wristband for a child, first and last names, as well as birthdates, are required at the time of registration.

Halloween Hustle 2020 Run/Walk is happening! This event will take place at the Freedom Hill County Park in Sterling Heights, MI. The 5K racecourse is a mix of surfaces including pavement, grass, and packed gravel suitable for all-terrain jogging strollers.
The In Person event will have 6 waves in which participants will register for the wave of their choice. There is also a Virtual Category.
The Men's and Women's Competitive wave participants will be eligible for overall and age group awards. The Open wave participants will receive a chip time but will not be eligible for overall or age group awards. There will be a costume contest for each wave.
You may only run in the wave in which you are registered for. Each wave will be capped at 90 participants. We ask that spectators are kept to a minimum due to overall event limits. This is a dog friendly event.
Participants will have the choice of no shirt (for a $10 discount) or a premium soft feel long sleeve finisher top. All participants will recieve a finisher medal, as well as cider and donuts at the finish line.
There will be an evening drive-in family-friendly movie following the event. The movie cost is $25 per car and can be purchased during the registration process or as its own category for those that may have other friends and family wanting to join. Those registered in early waves and attending the movie will have to leave the venue after their 5K and return starting at 5:00 pm to park for the movie.
