Children Water Safety Tips

Empty all kiddie pools, tubs, containers, and buckets after use. Pretty much anything with just a little bit of water can be a potential danger to your child.

If you have small children make sure you have a latch on the toilet so your child can't open it and accidently fall in. A bathroom can be a hazard.

If you're watching you child in the pool, always be no further than an arm's length away.

Never leave your baby alone near the water.

The younger the child, the greater the risk of accidental drowning. Most accidental drownings are from falling into a pool or being left unattended in the bathtub.

Take a CPR class. You never know when you may need it.

Never allow your child to play rough with other kids in the pool.

Adults should not drink alcohol when they're watching their child in the pool.

Make sure when you're looking at a child in the pool you're not playing on your phone or reading your book. Give your child 100% of your attention!
