About Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War”
Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Marvel’s “Captain America: Civil War” stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Emily VanCamp, Frank Grillo and Martin Freeman, with William Hurt and Daniel Brühl.
Captain America, Civil War, review, marvel, movie theater, theater, movie,

I was invited to an advanced showing of Marvel's Captain America: Civil War earlier this week. I love Marvel movies and action movies, so I was already looking forward to this latest sequel. At the theater, we had to choose which side we were on, Team Cap or Team Iron Man. I choose Team Iron Man since I was wearing my Iron Man shirt. I received the cool button pictured above. When I got home, my youngest wanted the button.
I enjoyed this movie; it doesn't even feel like it is 2.5 hours long. I think it is worth it to see in 3D, or even in IMAX if you get the chance. I kept noticing how you feel more like you are part of the action.
I laughed a bit at some of the things that Captain America does, but at least we get to see his muscles. Also, I'm not sure which side won the "civil war".
You are introduced to Black Panther. He's getting his own movie. I liked learning a little more about Vision and Scarlet Witch. However, I do miss Thor and Hulk. Watch for Ant Man's new super power. Spiderman is a new actor, the third one if you are counting. He is goofy, for comedy effect, and because that is how he acts in the comic books. Spiderman will be back in another movie, too.
Stan Lee's cameo was especially comical in this movie. Make sure you stay through the credits for not one, but two extra scenes.
There is a lot of fighting action, but I don't think it is too scary for elementary aged kids, and I only noticed one swear word.
