These tips can save you a lot of time and effort in cleaning the post-party mess. It can save you from the unwanted stress and headache after a night of fun, laughter, and excitement.

For broken glass
Broken glasses at parties are pretty much a natural thing. To clean up the mess (safely and efficiently), sweep up the big pieces of broken glass with a brush and dust pun and use slices of bread to pick up the small parts. Wrap the bread in a paper and toss it out.
For lipstick stains
To quickly remove lipstick stains on wine glasses, use a mixture of ½ cup of white vinegar and warm soapy water. Scrub it onto the stain and rinse thoroughly.
For carpet stains
Removing carpet stains is such a pain. It’s not easy and often times requires professional help. But if you want to try it yourself, try this nifty trick. Rub a few drops of beer (if you run out of stain-removing liquid) into the stain and rub it until it goes away.
For water rings
Water rings on wooden furniture is not a pretty sight to see a day after the party. Good thing there’s a good trick to get rid of it pretty easy. Just rub a small amount of non-gel toothpaste onto the water ring and rub with a clean, soft cloth.
For melted candle wax
If there is a melted candle wax on your wooden dining table, don’t try scratching it off as it can damage your furniture. Instead, put some ice cubes in a plastic bag and let it rest on top of the wax. This will make the wax become brittle making it easy to peel off.
For floor scuffs
After a night of slow but crazy dancing around your house, you’ll surely find unsightly floor scuffs around. Fret not! Scuffs on a hardwood floor can be buffed by merely using a dub of floor cleaner and rubbing the area vigorously with a cotton cloth.
Now that you're armed with these post-party cleaning hacks, why not enjoy the party up. Go get a glass of wine, turn the music up and dance the night around. Happy Holidays!
