5 Things on Friday

Welcome back! It's good to see you here again, and it's Friday! Woot! So, grab a chair and let's chit-chat! Make sure to fill me in on your week in the comments.

1. Saturday, we came back from almost a week at our beach house. It was a fabulously relaxing week. We spent plenty of time doing my most favorite activities of all, laying on the beach, eating at restaurants, napping, oh and enjoying my occasional cocktail. We did get some chores done. We (hubby) installed three ceiling fans.

2. I was so glad to go back to teaching this week. It made it even better I had zero phonics classes this week. I love having the kids that are about 10-12 years old. I can have regular conversations with them because they understand what I'm saying.

3. I started doing Door Dash at lunchtime this week. I could work a few extra hours teaching that pays really well, but I would have to either stay up late or get up early 6 or 7 days in a row, and I say no thank you to that nonsense. I had fun doing Door Dash this week and also discovered some crazy busy restaurants that I need to visit.

4. I've been still spending time weeding my jungle of a backyard. Matt and I spent a whole day out there working and we're progressing. I want to get to the point where I can sit out there and relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I'm happy with my cute little front yard we just gotta keep battling in the backyard. LOL!

5. My girls are little sporty spices. They only want Nike, Adidas, or UnderArmour which all can be pricey if you don't catch it on sale. We all know I love my name brand clothing, but I also enjoy going on treasure hunts at the Salvation Army. So, the girls and I went on a treasure hunt and my oldest found tons of treasure. She found tons of equestrian shirts along with her sporty spice shorts. I guess that must be in style. I will complain about it and then catch myself in the same type of getup! Oh, well!

I hope you have a great week!
