5 Things on Friday 3/5/21

Good morning! I'm sitting here with a cup of joe and reflecting on the week. I really enjoy this time with you, and it gives me a chance to be grateful.
What I've been up to:
1. My best bud and I hit Ann Arbor, and we went blowouts at Dry Bar. I went with the old-fashion style. At first, I didn't like it, but I loved it once the curls fell out a bit. I never make it one week. I think I made it 4 days before I washed it. We then had lunch at Bobcat Bonnie's in Ypsilanti. It was a good day.
2. I've been reading the Galveston Diet. Well, it's a series of videos and lectures. I'm rounding 46 and have noticed that I gain belly fat which I never did before. I started studying why this happens when we age. On top of counting my macros which I've been doing for years, I added intermittent fasting and made sure I was under my sugar goal. Plus, I started paying attention to make sure I received 25-35 grams of fiber per day. Whoa, I've been shocked by the results. I'm already down to my goal, plus my belly is back down to being almost flat. Shocked!!!
3. As many of you know, I've been selling Scentsy since September, and I've been pretty successful. Last week was pretty exciting because I gained my first recruit. Yay!!!!
4. Yesterday, I toyed around going back to school for a second degree as an ultrasound tech. They make good money (not that I need money), and it's a low-stress job. I'm the co-owner of a mobile home park; I own a beach rental and do all of the cleaning, plus my little Scentsy business. Honestly, I do not do much at the mobile home park. I tried to take over the billing a few times and butted heads with my spouse. I need to know this place inside and out just in case something happens to my husband. So, I've decided to dig in again. I guess it's not like I don't do anything here. Last summer, I had all new addresses made for our residents. I had no idea where to start, but I did it. Also, nailed reading meters. So exciting, LOL.
5. The girls bought a silk to hang in one of our barns. It's been getting them out of the house and out for some exercise. Yay!
